Research Focus:
Buildings Research at the Florida Solar Energy Center since 1990 in various aspects of residential energy use including HVAC system sizing, evaluation of residential duct system modeling software, and developing energy use simulation tools using DOE2.
At the present time, she is working in software development for the FSEC EnergyGauge residential building rating software products, including responsibility for maintaining the residential Florida Energy Code software, assisting with the USA EnergyGauge building rating program development, incorporated Manual J (Air Conditioning Contractors of America) HVAC system sizing procedure into the EnergyGauge software and pursuing the certification of the EnergyGauge system sizing capabilities with ACCA.
