Research Focus:

Ms. Shields leads the Communications Department at FSEC. Her team is responsible for facilitating media and public relations, coordinating conferences and special events, and maintaining FSEC’s primary website and numerous program-specific sites. In addition, her team supports the Center with proposal development, graphic and multimedia services, including photography, videography, and training course development.

Ms. Shields has worked at FSEC since 1996. Her previous experience includes working as a Graphic Specialist in the Commercial Proposal Division at Johnson Controls, as the lead illustrator in the ATCSD Proposal Center at Harris Corporation, and as the assistant pre-press manager at Florida Today newspaper.
