Dave Click is Chief Technical Officer at ESA, a commercial solar and energy storage EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) company, and developer of commercial, community solar, and utility-scale solar and energy storage projects. He is a Professional Engineer licensed in Florida and 10 other states, focusing on photovoltaic, energy storage, and microgrid projects for commercial and utility-scale customers. Mr. Click is also a licensed Electrical Contractor and Solar Contractor in Florida.

Mr. Click was previously VP of Engineering at ESA Renewables. He built the company’s engineering practice and supported the development team in 250MW+ of 2-5MW PURPA projects in North Carolina and other utility-scale markets. He was a license qualifier for residential and commercial construction, and O&M activities in Florida.

Mr. Click also previously worked for the Florida Solar Energy Center at the University of Central Florida for nearly eight years. He was Program Director for PV Project Engineering and also a Senior Research Engineer. Mr. Click began his career as an electrical engineer for Solar Design Associates in Harvard, Massachusetts for three years.
